TKOart’s team of hospitality art consultants is proud to have contributed to the extensive renovation and expansion of the Ameristar Casino Resort St. Charles in Missouri, one of the top luxury hotels in the state. Our work on this project included providing over 6,000 pieces of artwork across the property, enhancing the convention and event spaces, public areas, restaurants, private conference rooms, and more.

As the exclusive hospitality art consultants for this project, TKOart crafted a distinctive collection that seamlessly complements the hotel’s branding and color palette. Drawing on both local and international talent, TKOart curated art pieces that capture the unique character of each of the seven branded areas within the property. Along with custom framing, printing, and fabrication, our team also designed and created exclusive accessories, sculptures, and vessels for the presidential suites. Additionally, TKOart supplied mirrors at multiple price points throughout the property. Every aspect of the art was meticulously planned and executed, ensuring a cohesive and visually stunning experience for guests.

The range of services provided to Ameristar Casino includes:

• Art curation totaling over 6000 pieces of artwork for the entire property, including the convention and event spaces, public areas, restaurants, private conference rooms, and more
• Custom art framing, printing, and fabrication services, ensuring that every aspect of the artwork was on-brand and visually appealing
• Commissioned artists from across the country to create one-of-a-kind artwork
• Licensed artwork for the guest rooms and managed printing to control all aspects of color, contrast, and paper quality
• Project management services provided by working closely with WATG, architects, and designers

Key details of the Ameristar Casino's renovation and expansion project:

• Create unique collections of artwork for each of the seven branded properties within the hotel, providing a distinct identity for each space.
• Seamlessly integrated artwork into the overall design of the property by working closely with the architects and designers on the project
• Created custom accessories, sculptures, and vessels for the presidential suites, providing a truly luxurious and unique experience for guests
• Specified artwork that was able to withstand the warm and moist climate of the hotel's spa, providing durable and long-lasting artwork that would maintain its beauty over time
• The projected spanned over 400,000 square feet of space. This included a 130,000 square-foot casino floor, 536 hotel rooms, multiple restaurants and bars, a full-service spa, and a convention center with 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space

One of the challenges of the project was selecting artwork that would withstand the warm and moist climate of the hotel's spa. TKOart was able to specify artwork that was able to withstand these conditions while still being visually appealing and on-brand.

Altogether, the Ameristar Casino Resort project was a fantastic opportunity for TKOart to showcase their expertise and creativity in all aspects of art and framing. By having control over all art-related aspects, TKOart was able to create a cohesive and visually stunning experience for guests while also saving the client money in the long run.
